Biographical Information

Barry Blair has been involved with audio and the music industry for over 25 years. His vast experience brings a depth to our audio and music industry classes.

Barry’s music career began as the guitarist and a founding member of the popular Christian band Audio Adrenaline. From 1991 through 1996 Barry played guitar on 3 Audio Adrenaline recordings, including the RIAA certified gold recording, Bloom. Barry is also credited as a writer on many of the band’s hit songs, including the song “Big House”, which was named by CCM magazine as the “number 1 song of the decade” in the 1990’s.

Barry has also had success as a record producer, winning a Dove Award for Modern Rock Song of the Year.

Barry has won a total of 3 Dove Awards, one Grammy nomination and four Dove nominations.

In recent years, Barry has been working in audio post production for film and television, and film scoring.  His sound work has been heard in films on The Hallmark Channel, Circle All Access Network, and Pureflix, and advertisements by Nike.
