BIO

Lorri Phillips is a Kentucky native who completed her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Northern Kentucky University. As a pastor’s child and pastor’s wife, ministry has always had a central place in her heart and her daily life. For Lorri, nursing and education are deeply meaningful ways to serve the Lord as she follows His path. She serves as Asbury’s Founding Faculty Nursing Clinical Skills & Simulation Lab Manager and Simulation Coordinator for the Department of Nursing. Lorri’s background includes valuable experience in the hospital setting, as a district school nurse, a high school CTE teacher, and an instructor for a Licensed Practical Nursing program. Utilizing simulation instructor development training from the Mayo Clinic, she successfully grew the campus program into three distinct labs and integrated one to two simulations per course. In her free time, she loves hiking, creating artwork, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
