BIO Savanah N. Landerholm is passionate about equipping students with the skills to communicate truth with clarity, creativity, and purpose. Savanah teaches classes in multimedia journalism, editing and publishing, leadership, and communications. Savanah’s book, Beyond Equality: Women Leaders in Higher Education (Fortress Press, 2024) examines agency, identity, and empowerment in the lives of women leaders, particularly in the academy. She is married to her Asbury-sweetheart Scott and delights in her three daughters—Ivy, Selah, and Noelle. Beyond the classroom, Savanah enjoys exploring outdoors, going on walks, cooking nourishing food, and reading great books. Education B.A. in Journalism and International Communications from Asbury University (Fearless Class of 2011) M.A. in International Journalism from Baylor University Ph.D. in Higher Education Studies and Leadership from Baylor Selected/Recent Publications Over the last 14 years, Savanah has worked in Christian academic book publishing at Baylor University Press and then at Wipf and Stock Publishers. She has worked across departments as a typesetter, cover designer, copyeditor, editorial assistant, marketing assistant, textbook specialist, and Director of Design.
