Dr. Crowe graduated from Asbury College in 2003 with a major in mathematics education. She taught high school mathematics in Versailles, KY while pursuing her M.A.Ed. from Georgetown College and Ph.D. in Education Sciences (Mathematics Education) from the University of Kentucky. Before returning to Asbury University in fall 2013, Dr. Crowe was a professor at Eastern Kentucky University for five years.
Dr. Crowe’s research interests focus on TPACK (technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge) in mathematics education. In addition to several publications in this field, she has received two national fellowships in mathematics, presented her work across the United States, and been an invited guest panelist on KET’s Education Matters.
An avid traveler, Dr. Crowe has a goal of visiting all 50 states and currently has 7 remaining on her list. She also enjoys gardening, participating with her book club at church, and serving the Lord through mission ministries to preschoolers.
