Academic Background

Dr. Crowe graduated from Asbury College in 2003 with a major in mathematics education.  She taught high school mathematics in Versailles, KY while pursuing her M.A.Ed. from Georgetown College and Ph.D. in Education Sciences (Mathematics Education) from the University of Kentucky.  Before returning to Asbury University in fall 2013, Dr. Crowe was a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Eastern Kentucky University for five years.

Academic/Research Interests

Dr. Crowe’s research interests focus on TPACK (technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge) in mathematics education.  In addition to several publications in this field, she has received national fellowships in mathematics, presented her work across the United States, and been an invited guest panelist on KET’s Education Matters.
