Cheryll E. Crowe
Dr. Crowe graduated from Asbury College in 2003 with a major in secondary mathematics education. She taught high school mathematics in Versailles, KY while pursuing her M.A. in Mathematics Education and Gifted Education endorsement from Georgetown College. Crowe received her Ph.D. in Education Sciences (Mathematics) from the University of Kentucky in 2008. Before returning to Asbury University in fall 2013, Dr. Crowe was a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Eastern Kentucky University for five years.
Dr. Crowe’s research interests focus on TPACK (technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge) in mathematics education. In addition to several publications in the field, she has received national fellowships in mathematics, presented her work across the United States, and been an invited guest panelist on KET’s Education Matters. Dr. Crowe is the current Vice-President (Colleges) of the Kentucky Council of Teachers of Mathematics. She also serves as the Vice-Chair of the Kentucky Mathematics Association of America and the Kentucky state coordinator for the American Mathematics Competition
