Trent has been leading outdoor adventures since 1999. Before returning to Asbury in 2006, Trent and his wife Emily led wilderness programs with a ministry in the mountains of Colorado. They now reside in Nicholasville with their children, Adeline Rose, Sawyer Trent and Theodore Robert. Trent has experience leading groups in rock climbing, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, backpacking, rappelling, canyoneering, caving, and challenge course settings.
Trent is a certified Single Pitch Instructor as well as a Climbing Wall Instructor Provider with the American Mountain Guides Association and a certified Wilderness First Responder. He is also trained in cave, whitewater, and high angle rescues. Trent holds a Master of Arts in Adventure Education from Prescott College and an undergraduate degree in Recreation from Asbury University.
