Biographical Information

Jeannie, a proud member of the Steadfast Class of 2006, graduated from Asbury with a B.A. in Missions. Upon graduation, Jeannie served in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda before returning to the states for graduate school. She holds a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Trevecca Nazarene University. During graduate school, Jeannie felt God call her to work in higher education and has held various roles in student development throughout the last decade. Most recently, Jeannie served for six years as Chaplain of Discipleship at Asbury.

“Returning to work at Asbury has been one of God’s greatest gifts in my life! I am a life that was transformed by God’s grace and truth during my time at Asbury through professors, staff and classmates. Now, to be on the other side and to be able to help further establish the mission and purpose of Asbury for generations is a journey that is keeps me on my toes, but most importantly on my knees.”

Jeannie lives in Wilmore, but makes numerous trips to Georgia to see family, especially her niece and nephew. In her spare time, she enjoys decorating cakes, kayaking and finding local restaurants to visit.
