Greg has been serving as Campus Chaplain since 2008. He first served on campus as Coordinator of Outreach Ministries from 1997 to 2000, when he became a proud, honorary member of the Redeemed Class ’01. He returned to the Spiritual Life Department in 2008 after serving seven years as the Executive Director of the Texas Tech Wesley Foundation – which is part of a Lone Star attitude that may come out periodically since he is a native Texan. Greg holds a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Seminary, where he also earned an MA in Counseling.
He has loved fifteen years of ministry with college students because of his college experience when the Lord brought such radical transformation in his own life. Chapel, small group discipleship, missions, and helping counsel young couples are a few of the many reasons he feels called to the Christian college campus. His wife Jennifer is a native of Washington State, and they have three children – Ellie, Mollie and Isaac. As a family they love spending time on the beach, in the NorthWest, as well as gardening.
