Biographical Information

Andy Reynolds, MSW, LCSW received his Master in Social Work and BA in Christian Ministries from Asbury University. He is currently teaching full time in Asbury’s BSW program. He previously worked as the BSW Field Practicum Director conducting trainings for agency supervisors as well as implementing Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Educational Policies and Accreditation Standards (EPAS) into Asbury’s BSW field program. His research interests include evaluation, the practicum experience, teaching social work practice models, human behavior theory, social work ethics, and faith integration in social work. Prof. Reynolds’ direct practice experience includes community mental health work with children, adolescents, and families, as well as EAP. His current teaching assignments include Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups, HBSE I & II, Introduction to Social Work, Social Welfare Systems, Contemporary Issues in Social Work, and Social Work Research. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Social Work through the University of Kentucky.
