Abby Laub is a journalism and communications veteran who hails from upstate New York. Abby is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University and has enjoyed calling Central Kentucky home since 2005. Before sensing God’s call to Christian higher education, Abby was a widely published writer and owned a successful photography and media business. She also built a large, diverse freelance portfolio of magazines, newspapers and nonprofits, but one of her favorite roles was working as a group fitness instructor and strength trainer for almost 12 years.
Abby and her husband Jeff met while attending a leadership institute at Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs and have been married since 2005. They have two young children, Selma and Oscar. Abby and her family enjoy camping, paddle boarding, hiking, visiting family, reading great books and magazines, traveling the U.S. and the world, riding bicycles to school, and taking daily walks together in their neighborhood.
She is thrilled to be a part of mentoring college students and using her marketplace skills to help even more students start their journey with Asbury.
