The senior-level academic administrator works collaboratively with faculty, deans, staff, and other administrators to promote a culture of learning and excellence, and to execute the mission of Asbury University.

This position also serves to directly supervise Registrar, Center for Academic Excellence, Academic Accessibility Resources, and undergraduate research through SEARCH. Other areas of responsibility include curriculum and policy development, oversight of centers and institutes, grants, faculty development, and academic support services. This position also serves as the institution’s initial point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to academic agreements.

Reporting to the Office of the Vice Provost

▾ Registrar

The Registrar’s Office assists students with academic credits, organizes and administers academic records, registration and graduation functions, including transcript evaluations.

▾ Agreements and Partnerships

Agreements create clear parameters for engagement with external organizations.  They provide liability protection for the institution and students.  Written agreements reflect Asbury University’s commitment to operate with integrity and excellence.  

▾ Academic Support Services

The Center for Academic Excellence serves students, primarily, through three different avenues: Writing Consulting, Peer Course Tutoring, and Academic Coaching.

Academic Accessibility Resources provides reasonable academic accommodations for students with disabilities in accordance with the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA).

The Registrar’s Office assists students with academic credits, organizes and administers academic records, registration and graduation functions, including transcript evaluations.

▾ Faculty Advancement

Faculty Advancement exists to recruit, retain and develop outstanding teacher-scholars committed to academic achievement and student success. 

▾ Curriculum

The Office of the Vice Provost oversees the Academic Policy and Curriculum Committee and reviews curriculum.

▾ Program Review

The Office of the Vice Provost maintains the regular schedule for associative school program review processes.

▾ Undergraduate Research

The Office of the Vice Provost oversees the undergraduate research efforts of the University and the support of such through the program SEARCH and administering the Dean's List
