Why Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at Asbury?

An education that connects your calling with a changing world.

Professional careers don’t follow a single path—and your education shouldn’t either. At Asbury, you don’t have to choose between passion and practicality. By combining the humanities, art and design, and social sciences with other professional programs, such as media, business, or science, you open new possibilities for doing vital work within different professional fields over the course of your life.

Asbury's Social Science and History Department's biggest strength is the care they put into their students. These classes have not only furthered my learning, but have also inspired me to be interested in learning these subjects outside the classroom and to use my knowledge to work in journalism and political work."
