Yes. Although housed in Asbury’s Department of Social Sciences and History, the program combines sociology and biology to prepare students to study health at the individual and community levels.
The program is designed to prepare students for Master of Public Health (MPH) programs and related graduate study. Admission requirements vary by graduate program.
The degree can prepare students for entry-level opportunities in areas such as research, health education, overdose prevention and other community health initiatives. Some public health careers require graduate education or additional credentials.
