I really enjoyed the content in the Physiology class that I took my sophomore year. Learning more about how the body works down to a cellular way was very interesting. My Faith has also become my own since my time at Asbury and not just something from going to church with my parents.”

Asbury University has long been a top choice for homeschool families and students of Great Books or Classical Education programs. Our lab programs are designed to provide practical lab experience for students who have completed or are currently studying chemistry and/or biology on a high-school level in a homeschool environment.
Kids College at Asbury University is hosted by Asbury’s chapter of the Sigma Zeta Honor Society. Kids College brings science to life for elementary and middle school students as they participate in hands-on chemistry experiments, watch physics demonstrations, and get up-close views of plants and animals in the biology lab.
Cheryll Crowe-Johnson ’03, Ph.D. leads the Shaw School of Sciences with a desire to emphasize the integration of academic rigor and spiritual formation as students are prepared to impact the world for Christ.
“Students have the opportunity to explore God’s creation through Computer Science, Equine, Exercise Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Nursing. In each of these academic areas, students learn beyond the classroom walls through travel courses, attending and presenting at conferences, and participating in international competitions.”
