Student Governance Association

Student Governance Association (SGA)  brings together student leaders from various areas of campus to discuss and work towards the continual improvement of campus. Class and organization representatives join together with committees to discuss areas including academic and institutional matters, parking and safety, campus spaces, food services, and issues awareness.

Academic & Institutional Matters Committee

Academic and Institutional Matters Committee is for students to give their voice and opinion on academic, curricular, institutional issues.

Parking & Safety

Parking and Safety acts as a liaison between students and Asbury security personnel. This committee monitors the student pulse on parking policies as well as campus safety.

Campus Spaces & Accessibility

Campus Spaces & Accessibility oversees the use of communal spaces on campus and voices the needs for various improvements and/or additions to campus facilities, and works to further the voice of our students that are passionate about accessibility for our handicapped students and guests and to help make our campus a more accessible place.

Food Services

Food Services acts as a liaison between students and Pioneer Food Services and Asbury dining facilities staff. This committee will discuss student concerns regarding food and will work with the Cafeteria and Bistro staff to implement changes.

Issues Awareness Committee

Issues Awareness Committee listens to the voices of students regarding campus, local, national or international issues and hosts events to increase awareness and spark discussion on relevant topics.
