Meet the Camp Director
Hello ImpactU Campers and Parents!
My name is Tanner Fouts and I will be serving as Camp Director at ImpactU 2021 this summer! I am thrilled to be joining Asbury’s history in this special way. Growing up in Lexington, Kentucky, Asbury University had always been on the outskirts of my life. When my brothers chose Asbury for college, it became part of their story. Now it is my turn!
Camp has always been a big part of my life. From attending camps in my younger years to creating new camp experiences today, I love camp! The opportunities for personal growth, life long friendships, and the best memories of your life are limitless. Fun fact, it was camp that led me to being a professional Chick-fil-A cow and the job I have today.
Currently I serve as Middle School Pastor at First Alliance Church in Lexington, KY with 15 years in student ministry. I’ve worked with thousands of kids over the years–Everything from babies to college. I personally love helping students through the transitional years of their lives and discover their purpose.
I look forward to meeting each of you this summer!

In an age when most young adults aimlessly absorb the culture and struggle to find direction, Summit Ministries is turning the tide by equipping students to fearlessly stand for truth. Students who attend a Summit conference learn and engage with today’s top worldview thinkers and apologists as they dive into relevant issues.
Students apply and are accepted into this special camp that equips high school students for theologically-guided living and decision making as they grow in becoming leaders in their own sphere of influence and society. This two week program elevates a youth's ability to understand their faith and their call to ministry. Students who attend YBL work with a mentor before, during, and after to learn and grow through studying scriptures together and working on a community project.
The world needs better leaders. Youth Becoming Leaders is aimed to equip students to be the leaders the church needs.
