This fall, Asbury University will launch the new Asbury Online Multimedia Design major, which prepares students to create online platforms that powerfully communicate their message, whether it is to educate or entertain.
Within this major, students can select one of two concentrations: Digital Media (which focuses on skills for marketing, entertainment and storytelling) or Learning Design & Technology (which focuses on skills for teaching/training in corporate, education and military spaces). Taught by experienced professionals, core courses within the major include audio, writing, and creative technologies.
“We are excited about this new major, built on our decades of experiences with media and instructional design,” said Dean of the School of Communication Arts Dr. Jim Owens ’79. “We believe the program provides students with a highly marketable degree with in-demand skills.”
Asbury graduates from School of Communication Arts have been hired around the globe at Adobe, Disney, ESPN, The New York Times, Universal Studios, and more.
