“I have learned that business can be a ministry for God to transform the world and bring reconciliation to people in need. This concept has reframed my understanding of what nonprofit organizations and corporate businesses can be.”

In Asbury’s MBA, we learn about business, not as an end in itself, but a means to reveal the Kingdom of God and address social concerns. Rather than charity or government intervention, there is an additional route for social change — we are leveraging the free market system to address social concerns. I think it’s brilliant.

“Through Asbury’s MBA Program, I have learned how to reframe how I look at work, money, and materialism—and now see “work” as an extension of living fully as a child of God. It has changed everything for me. I also look at my company’s corporate moves in a more informed light. Enlightenment is empowering.”

“I was drawn to the MBA focus on leaders as stewards rather than business owners, and God is in control of it all. Asbury’s MBA Program reinforces the idea that we as believers need to treat everyone we meet with respect because they are made in God’s image, whether they are co-workers or customers. The strategic leadership course has helped me use the program concepts to refine my leadership style.”

“The professors are not only incredibly equipped for what they’re teaching, but you just see evidence of genuinely wanting to know the students. It’s something that when I was looking at schools, I really enjoyed, but never imagined the depth that that would be instituted into when I got here. Professors make time for the students.”
