We are excited to have you and your student as a part of the Asbury community! We know the transition to college is a significant one for the whole family, and we want to help make it as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Whether your son or daughter just graduated high school or is transferring from another institution, we look forward to having them begin a new chapter at Asbury University.
These pages will hopefully provide you with some important resources you may want as you prepare to bring your student to campus. We have created Parent Orientation for parents of freshmen that includes important programming and information for you when you bring your student here. Once you arrive on campus and register your student for New Student Orientation, you will have time to help them move in and get settled in their residence hall. That evening we kick off the week's programming with the President's Convocation and a Faculty Reception for you to meet some of your student's professors.
The following day was crafted with you in mind-we want to provide an opportunity for you to meet staff from a wide variety offices ranging from Finanical Aid and the Registrar's Office to Student Development and Business Affairs. We have provided a schedule for Fall 2014 here, though it is subject to change. A final schedule will be provided upon your arrival to campus.
We look forward to having you here and are privileged to be a part of your son or daughter's life. God bless!
