Asbury Academy

Asbury Academy is a dual enrollment program for high school juniors and seniors. Students can take 100- and 200-level Asbury University courses while still in high school.

Yes. Asbury Academy offers both on-campus and online courses.

Most online courses are offered in an intensive eight-week format and require a high level of academic discipline and motivation. Some online courses may be offered throughout the full 16-week semester.

Asbury Academy makes it more affordable to earn college credit while still in high school.

• Reduced tuition: Courses are offered at the current state-set dual credit tuition rate.
• Scholarship opportunities: Asbury University participates in the Kentucky Dual Credit Scholarship Program. Eligible Kentucky students may use Dual Credit or Work Ready Kentucky Scholarships toward qualifying online and on-campus courses.
• College credit: Students can begin earning college credit before high school graduation.

Students must complete the Asbury Academy application and provide:

• An official high school transcript showing a weighted cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher for seniors or 3.25 or higher for juniors
• An academic recommendation from a non-relative who can address the student’s readiness for college-level academics
• Permission from a parent or guardian to participate in Asbury Academy

Homeschool transcripts may be emailed and are considered official.
