Gain wisdom, build networks, and develop confidence
At the Dayton School of Business (DSB), we believe growth happens in community. The DSB Mentorship Program connects students with local, faith-based business leaders who offer guidance in career, character, and calling. Together, you’ll explore how to live out your purpose as a Christ-centered leader in today’s marketplace.
100% of Dayton School of Business students connected with a mentor. Every student. Every story. Every future shaped through intentional, faith-based mentorship.
Launched in 2023, the DSB Mentorship Program provides intentional, one-on-one mentorship that blends professional insight with spiritual encouragement. Whether you’re majoring in accounting, business administration, finance, marketing, or sport management, you’ll gain practical wisdom, build lifelong networks, and develop the confidence to lead with integrity and faith.
The DSB Mentorship program is built on three foundational pillars:
Dr. Michael D. Ross, D.B.A.

"The Mentor & Internship Program will work to connect students with individuals in their chosen career path who can speak into them as future business people and followers of Christ."
"Building a network takes students to the next level."
Gain more than career advice, gain a community that invests in your growth. As a student, you’ll receive invaluable guidance from experienced mentors, building networks that open doors to internships, jobs, and lifelong connections.
We’re seeking dedicated professionals who want to invest in the next generation of Christ-centered business leaders. If you’re passionate about faith, leadership, and making a difference, we invite you to apply as a mentor.
Mentor Requirements:
As part of our ongoing commitment to mentorship and professional formation, the Dayton School of Business has established a new Advisory Council, a partnership of distinguished business professionals and DSB student representatives.
Council members will lend their expertise to guide and inspire the next generation of ethical leaders through dialogue, mentorship, and practical engagement with the business community. Together, they model the integration of faith, purpose, and leadership that defines an Asbury education.
The mission of the Dayton School of Business Mentorship Program is to transform business students into business leaders who make an eternal impact on the world.
