Explore Faith, Story-telling, and Imagination Through C.S. Lewis

Step into the world of C.S. Lewis and discover how storytelling, faith, and imagination come together in powerful ways. At Asbury University’s C.S. Lewis Camp, students will explore the deeper meaning behind The Chronicles of Narnia while engaging with literature, film, and thoughtful discussion in a Christ-centered academic environment.

Students should read these four books in advance and bring their own copies with them:

The Silver Chair
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
Prince Caspian
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Camp Dates

Monday – Friday, June 2-6, 2025

What You’ll Experience

During this immersive camp, students will:

Explore themes from The Chronicles of Narnia
Watch and discuss the Narnia films
Engage with C.S. Lewis: The Most Reluctant Convert
Participate in guided conversations about faith, imagination, and storytelling
Connect with other students who share a love for literature and creative thinking

Learn from an Expert in C.S. Lewis

Asbury University's Devin Brown headhsot.

Students will learn from Dr. Devin Brown, a nationally recognized C.S. Lewis scholar and:

Professor of English at Asbury University
Lilly Scholar
Instructor in the Asbury Honors Program
Teacher of courses on C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien

Dr. Brown holds a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s degree from the University of Florida, and brings both academic expertise and passion for Lewis’s work into the classroom. Each student will also receive a signed copy of Bringing Narnia Home by Dr. Brown!
