WACW is operated by students that both volunteer and serve in staff positions, here is the staff for this semester:

Dr. Don Simmons - Faculty Advisor

Amanda Paschal - Station Manager

Amanda Paschal is a senior Media Communication major with an emphasis in film studies, management, & production from Louisville, KY. She serves as the Assistant Resident Director to the lovely ladies of Glide-Crawford and is excited to work as the station manager for WACW this semester. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with friends, watching U of L basketball, and playing golf.

Alisha Bynum - Program Director

Alisha Bynum is junior Media Communication major with a media management emphasis. Alisha is from the small town of Salvisa, Ky and now resides in Wilmore with her husband Joshua. Alisha is excited to be a part of WACW once again this semester with a new position as Program Director. She looks forward to what is in store for WACW as it continues to grow as a station.

Gwendolyn Cipcowski - Music Director

Gwendolyn Cipkowski is a sophomore Media Communications major and theatre minor from Louisville, Ky. She is the music director for WACW and also work in Glide-Crawford dorm. She loves to play piano, sing, act and loves radio. She is super excited about all that is going on with the radio this semester and can't wait for all that's happening.

Tyler Garden - Production Director

Matthew Lind - News Director

Matthew Lind is a junior Media Communication major. He is highly active with Asbury Theater while also devoting his time to work for Asbury’s Help Desk. Matt was on the news team last year for WACW and is raising the bar on what to expect from the news this semester. He is a proud resident of Aldersgate and is alway looking to hang out with those interested in discusing the finer points of productions.

Daniel Gibbons - Sports Director

Daniel Gibbons is a Sophomore Media Communication major from the faraway place of Lexington, Ky. Daniel is a member of the golf team. He is returning as sports director of the radio to bring you all the excitement. He has a weekly sports show that will keep you informed as the eagles chase for the conference title. He is obsessed with the University of Kentucky athletics as well as keeping up with the ladies.

Ashley Brooks - Sales Director

Ashley Brooks is a sophomore Media Communication major with an emphasis in Music Management and a minor in Business Management and Spanish. She divides her time between the big city Ashland and small town Orlando. In her spare time she loves hanging out with friends, swimming, going to the beach, playing tennis, reading and attempting to skateboard.

Logan Phillips - Promotions Director

Logan Phillips is a junior Media Communication and Art major from Dover, Ohio. Logan works as the promotions director, giving his time and energy in helping promote WACW through posters, graphics, and other visual means of promotion. In his spare time he enjoys being part of the cycling team and doing activities with AO. He is really excited for another semester working for WACW, and can’t wait to see what the year brings him.

Marcus Rixon - Remotes Director

Marcus Rixon is an international student from the city of Kolkata, India. He is currently a sophomore studying Media Communication with an emphasis in Audio Production. Marcus enjoys music, sports, and being on stage performing. In his spare time he likes to drive to Starbucks for coffee and BWW’s for his chicken wings. While in Dr. Walker’s radio production class he got to experience what it was like to be a DJ and is now excited to be a part of the WACW crew and staff.
