Transformations Project

Students

Asbury College’s very reason for existence is our students, and the Transformations Project offers a wide range of programs for them. The project exemplifies its theme – “Transforming for Ministry, Service, and Life” – by offering exciting initiatives in each of these three areas.

To help students explore ministry, we offer Lilly Ministry Scholarships, a Women in Ministry and Leadership Program, an Annual Junior/Senior Retreat for students who might consider ministry, and support for our Spiritual Life Assistants who lead our ongoing InReach program.

To help students explore a life of service, we offer an extensive Service-Learning Emphasis, which includes grants for student-generated initiatives.

To help students explore how vocation integrates and gives meaning to all of life, we do regular seminars in our Residence Life Emphasis on Vocation, include a clear theological aspect in our SOAR Program, and have a Student-Parent Dialogue on Vocation for new students and parents.
