Preparing Asbury Students for Life After College

Customize your Asbury journey with Career & Calling by your side! We are located on the main floor of the library in the Catalyst Center. During the fall and spring semester, we are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Career & Calling can assists Asbury students with many things, such as:

Writing your resume
Sharpening interview skills
Helping you land an internship or job
Exploring major, career and graduate school options
Career fairs and on-campus recruitment

Through partnerships with employers, faculty, staff and alumni, we are here to help students like you develop effective career decision-making and employment skills reflective of God’s unique calling on your lives.

Make an Appointment with Career & Calling

Register and log in to Handshake: https://app.joinhandshake.com/.
Develop your profile.
At the Handshake student and alumni main page, choose “Career Center” on the top tab.
Choose appointments from the drop-down menu.
Choose “schedule a new appointment” tab.
- Identify Category: Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, GPS, Masters, Alumni, Staff
- Identify Type of Appointment: Check-in, Job Search, Major Exploration, Resume, Test Taking

Career & Calling utilizes a platform for students and alumni called Handshake, a comprehensive career site that helps you easily connect with employers and source full-time jobs and internships.

In addition, one of our ministry partners, The Salvation Army, has numerous full-time and seasonal jobs which you can check out on their website.

Asbury also has on-campus student jobs.
