Sociology, B.A.

Availability: On-Campus
Degree: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

Life-Changing Experiences

Our core curriculum introduces the rich tradition of sociological inquiry. These are taught by faculty with terminal degrees from high-ranking institutions who pursue active research agendas. These courses are designed to help students develop robust analytical, technical, and communication skills.

Sociology students also choose from a flexible set of pathways and electives that can include courses in other fields such as communication, social work, ministry, and philosophy. Each student works closely with a faculty mentor to chart an academic course that fits their interests and vocational goals, including research projects or internships. Others take advantage of study-abroad and off-campus learning experiences.
