Together our Biblical and theological studies faculty have more than 100 years of combined teaching experience. More importantly, all of our Ph.D.-level professors have a heart for students that extends well beyond the classroom.

With Dr. Brian Shelton guiding you through historical theology, Dr. Julianne Burnett bringing the Old Testament to life, and many other wonderful faculty preparing you for ministry and professions, you’ll be supported by leaders who are passionate about both their subjects and your journey. Their commitment to integrating faith and scholarship ensures that you’ll receive a transformative education that equips you for impactful service in the world. Holding degrees from universities like Brandeis, Drew, Johns Hopkins, London School of Theology, and Marquette, these professors stay current by regularly attending professional conferences, presenting papers, and writing and publishing scholarly works from books to commentaries and articles. All our professors who are eligible have been awarded sabbaticals for research, writing, course revision, or teaching at other institutions.
