Reunion

Why Alumni Keep Coming Back

Reunion is more than an annual event. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with classmates, worship together in Hughes Auditorium, revisit the places where God shaped your story, and celebrate the lifelong friendships that continue to grow long after graduation. Every Reunion welcomes alumni from across generations back to the place they will always call home.

Months of prayerful preparation lead up to this weekend, but nothing compares to the moment our alumni step back onto campus—the joy, the renewal, and the shared sense of calling make it all undeniably worthwhile.”

More than 1,200 alumni and guests returned to Asbury for Reunion 2026, representing generations of graduates who gathered for worship, fellowship, class celebrations, and meaningful conversations. From the beloved Hymn Sing to honoring faithful alumni, the weekend reflected the enduring relationships and Christ-centered community that continue to define the Asbury experience.

A Weekend to Remember

  • 1,200+ alumni and guests returned to campus.
  • 34 states and seven countries were represented.
  • 65+ events created opportunities to reconnect.
  • 16 hymns united generations in worship.

One alumnus from the Class of 1949 reminded us that Asbury’s impact lasts a lifetime.

Unfortunately, the dorm rooms are not decorated (rugs, lamps, TVs, pictures, etc) and have only the furniture needed for each room. Reservations for on-campus housing will be available when Registration opens in April. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.

Other accommodations: There are hotels and bed and breakfast options in the area. Unfortunately, the Asbury Inn is unavailable this summer. If this changes, we will let you know!  You can find a complete list of options here.

Meals are available for purchase through registration starting at dinner on Friday and through lunch on Sunday. Here is a list of local options.

Please bring your children to Reunion! We provide a full youth program for birth through high school. Canoeing, challenge course, and swimming are on the program for age-appropriate activities. We have something for everyone!

This year, we celebrate our classes ending in 1s and 6s by singing your class hymn in Hughes and with Class gatherings throughout the weekend. We celebrate banner alumni every five years.

If you plan to arrive on Thursday, shuttles from Lexington Airport and campus housing are available Thursday evening. The dining hall will be open Friday for breakfast and lunch. You can pay at the door for these meals. Please be aware that registration opens and programming begins Friday afternoon.
