Asbury University may be located in Wilmore, KY, but its reach and instructional opportunities span the globe. Communication students have interned at Disney, worked at the Olympics, and designed PR/Marketing for fashion houses in Paris. They have done product design for Haiti-Made, an organization that finds work for unadoptable Haitian orphans. They run social media for nonprofits that help prevent human trafficking, hunger, and illiteracy.

Asbury students have frequent opportunities to visit cultural hubs around the world and learn from the best in the business, such as the Christian agent in New York City who landed Liam Neeson the job as the voice of Aslan in the Narnia movies. Another student worked in India fighting against sex trafficking. Yet another interned at the Pentagon talking to Emmy-winning producers and negotiating whether or not the U.S. Air Force would support their next blockbuster film.

Special events draw the world’s best talent to campus and allow students not only to learn but also to apply what they are learning in real-world situations.

Our goal is to provide a firm foundation from which students can use their talent, skill, and a servant's heart to impact the world.
