Equine Visit Event

October 23-24, 2025

At Asbury, you can take a passion for horses and make it into a thriving career. Learn how at our hands-on Equine Event where you can get on our beautiful facility, meet faculty and students, and gain a better understanding of our innovative program nestled in the heart of iconic Horse Country.

Health ProFessions Preview Day

October 24, 2025

Experience Asbury’s academic excellence and how we equip our students for a career in health sciences at Health Professions Preview Day. This event is perfect for any student interested in one of our pre-health professions programs through the Shaw School of Sciences.

Winter Preview

November 13-14, 2025

Scholarship Competition #1 & #2

January 22-23, 2025 | January 29-30, 2026

Scholarship Competition is an invitation-only event for our distinguished academic students who qualify to compete for our top merit scholarships. In addition to competing for scholarships, students will have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the academic, spiritual and social life at Asbury while connecting with future classmates and professors.

Salvation Army Visit Weekend

January 29-February 1, 2026

During the Salvation Army Visit Weekend, you’ll experience the Asbury community firsthand. Explore majors, attend classes, worship in chapel, meet professors, students, spend the night in a residence hall, and spend time with Salvationists on campus. Registration for Spring 2026 events will be available by October 1st.

Homeschool Visit Day

March 2, 2026

Explore Asbury, attend chapel, meet professors, and connect with former homeschoolers. Designed to help homeschool families navigate college decisions and the transition to university learning. Registration for Spring 2026 events will be available by October 1st.

Spring Preview

March 26-27, 2026

Visit campus to meet students, connect with professors, worship in Chapel, and explore academics. Parents can join special sessions like:

  • Financial Aid Seminar – Learn about financial aid and ask questions.
  • Faculty Panel – Professors share how they integrate faith and profession.
  • Academic Open Houses – Meet faculty from each department.

Parents are welcome to attend all activities, including tours, classes, and Chapel, but participation is optional. Overnight stays available for students on Thursday (age restrictions apply). Registration for Spring 2026 events will be available by October 1st.

MEDIA COMMUNICATION AND THEATRE WEEKEND

April 17-18, 2026

Open to all, but perfect for those interested in Media Communication or Theatre! Explore campus, attend Engaging Culture Seminars, and experience the Highbridge Film Festival featuring student films. Registration for Spring 2026 events will be available by October 1st.

Visit Event FAQs


Visit events are free to attend! In addition, we will cover the cost of group meals for visiting student and family members.

All high school students are encouraged to attend our visit events. College students interested in transferring to Asbury are also invited. Scholarship Competition is by invitation only.

Visit events during the fall semester restrict overnight stays to senior and transfer students only. Visit events during the spring semester restrict overnight stays to juniors, seniors, and transfer students. Regardless of year in school, you must be at least 16 years to stay overnight in the residence halls. Students who are juniors but not 16 years old will not be allowed to stay on-campus overnight. Additionally, students older than 24 years will not be allowed to stay overnight. Parents and other visitors are encouraged to stay at a local hotel or bed & breakfast, some of which offer a special rate for Asbury visitors.

If you are staying overnight in a residence hall, bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel and any necessary toiletries. You may be sleeping on the floor of a dorm room, so bring whatever you need to be comfortable. If you are attending our Equine Event, bring appropriate farm footwear.

Parents are invited to attend all parts of the event including the Campus Tour, Classes, Chapel and Meals, but are not required to attend. Most events also include a Financial Aid Seminar specifically for parents.
