STEM Visit Event
Our campus is now open for in-person visits! Schedule yours today.
Please note: The state of Kentucky is currently requiring the use of masks in public. Our Office of Admissions is closely monitoring and following Asbury University’s official COVID-19 Response, and visits will follow recommendations as outlined by our COVID-19 Task Force, the CDC and government officials (if you do not have a mask for your visit, we can provide one for you!). If you are unable to travel, take a look below at our online alternatives for you to still get to know Asbury and for us to get to know you.
Asbury University’s STEM Visit Event is open to all prospective students, but will be of particular interest to students wanting to study Math, Science or Engineering.
Each spring, teams of three students compete in the COMAP Mathematical and Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling. Next year, Asbury will celebrate its 33rd anniversary of participation in this exciting international event, in which Asbury teams historically have placed in the top 10 in the world. Join the Asbury Math Department to celebrate with a special preview of math modeling in conjunction with the STEM Visit Event.
The event includes a pizza party kick-off, math modeling problem download, Chapel, campus tours, math and science class visits, a forensic chemistry science lab and, of course, your own opportunity to “model at Asbury.”
- STEM Visit Event, February 13-14, 2020
