STEM Visit Event
Asbury University’s STEM Visit Event is open to any high school juniors and seniors interested in any major, but will be of particular interest to students wanting to study Math, Science, or Engineering.
Each spring, teams of three students compete in the COMAP Mathematical and Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling. In January, Asbury will celebrate its 32nd anniversary of participation in this exciting international event, in which Asbury teams historically have placed in the top 10 in the world.
Join the Asbury Math Department on January 24-25, 2019, to celebrate with a special preview of math modeling and STEM visit event. The event includes a Pizza Party Kick-Off, Math Modeling Problem Download, Chapel, campus tours, math and science class visits, a forensic chemistry science lab and, of course, your own opportunity to “model at Asbury”.
