Finding a job to apply for and preparing for interviews can be stressful and we want to help you not be stressed.  Preparation, networking and research are necessary to help with the employment process. Resources like LinkedIn and Handshake are available to assist with networking and job/internship searching. The Office of Career & Calling has amazing resources and staff that are available to help you along the job search journey.

Statistics show that over 60% of jobs are secured because of networking. Having a LinkedIn account is a great way to connect with potential employers and others who can help you find a job. There are wonderful resources to help students along their career path and a profile checklist to assist individuals get started in creating their account. Create your profile now!

Handshake

Handshake has more than 500 schools and over 9 million students and alumni in its network. 250,000+ employers and Fortune 500 companies actively use Handshake to recruit.

The Handshake career services platform and internship posting system allows jobs to be filtered towards your major, minor, location and coursework and allows for you to view and sign-up for on-campus events in a more convenient way.

All current students have access to their Handshake accounts. Sign in using using your Asbury email and password and you’re on your way!
