The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is a standardized test that is routinely required for admission to medical schools across the United States. The test will cover biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics.

How to Schedule

The MCAT is a computer-based test, offered twenty-eight times a year. You should take the exam the same year you apply for entrance to medical school. You can take the exam a maximum of three times a year.

Test Format

The test consists of multiple-choice questions for the physical sciences, verbal reasoning, and the biological sciences. There is a writing section, in which two short essays will need to be written. The test will last half a day.

Current Test Cost

Basic cost is $275, which covers the cost of the exam, as well as distribution of your scores. Additional fees may need to be applied.
