Job Purpose:
The Director of Information Technology Services serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Asbury University. It is the nature and scope of this position to serve the information technology needs of the academic, student, and administrative sectors of Asbury University. The position provides strategic leadership in developing and implementing both short- and long-term technology plans to respond both to institutional needs and provide a road map to future uses of technology.
As such she/he is responsible for the entire electronic information computing, media, and telecommunications systems including hardware, software, personnel, and operations. Specific managerial functions include coordinating, supervising, and planning for Service Desk, Application Development, academic and administrative software, Instructional Design, Learning Resources technology, data security, and Network Operations. An important part of the position is supporting the ministry and mission of the University and advancing the academic excellence and spiritual vitality of our university and students. Each employee plays a key role in the development of the Christian faith in our students.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position requires additional hours and weekend work.
