Asbury University to Welcome Nationally Recognized Wealth Management Leader Todd Purich for T.W. Lewis Speaker Series

The Dayton School of Business will partner with the National Christian Foundation Kentucky, a local affiliate of the National Christian Foundation, to host a December 1 dinner exploring faith, stewardship and the next generation of financial planning.

Asbury University’s Dayton School of Business, in collaboration with the National Christian Foundation Kentucky, a local affiliate of the National Christian Foundation (NCF), will welcome nationally recognized wealth management leader Todd Purich on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, for Wealth with Purpose: Faith, Stewardship & the Next Generation of Financial Planning.

The event, part of the T.W. Lewis-sponsored leadership speaker series, will bring together financial planning professionals, industry leaders and Asbury alumni to explore the intersection of faith, financial stewardship and professional excellence.

The University will host the gathering at the Walt and Rowena Shaw Collaborative Learning Center (CLC) on Asbury’s campus. Guests may arrive beginning at 5:30 p.m., with dinner starting at 6 p.m. The evening will conclude at 8 p.m.

Purich will deliver the featured plenary address, followed by moderated discussions with other leaders in the wealth planning industry. Organizers will announce additional speakers in the coming weeks.

As cofounder and Managing Director of Legacy Private Client Services in North Carolina, Purich brings more than three decades of experience in financial services. Throughout his career, he has advised individuals and families on wealth management, estate planning and multigenerational stewardship. Forbes ranked Purich No. 1 in North Carolina on its Best in State Financial Security Professionals list in both 2023 and 2024.

We are incredibly excited to welcome Todd to Asbury and to partner with the National Christian Foundation Kentucky for this gathering."

“Financial planning is ultimately about people. Behind every financial decision is a family, a story and often a hope for the next generation. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore how faith, stewardship and professional excellence come together, and what it means to serve others well through our work.”

The National Christian Foundation helps individuals, families and businesses grow in generosity through charitable giving strategies. Through its collaboration with Asbury, NCF will offer valuable perspectives on how financial planning can reflect Christian values, encourage generosity and create lasting impact.

“Wealth planning is about much more than what we accumulate. It’s also about what we choose to do with what God has entrusted to us,” said Blazer Smith, Vice President, Relationship Manager at the National Christian Foundation. “We’re grateful to collaborate with Asbury to bring together professionals who care deeply about helping families steward their resources wisely, live generously and build a legacy that extends beyond themselves.”

The upcoming gathering builds on the success of the Dayton School of Business’s recent T.W. Lewis-sponsored event featuring Moses Lo, founder and CEO of Xendit. That event welcomed approximately 100 business and community leaders in Lexington and provided opportunities for meaningful conversations about leadership, innovation and faith in the workplace.

Asbury continues to strengthen relationships with industry leaders who invest in the next generation of business professionals. Earlier this year, Legacy Private Client Services committed to offering one paid summer internship annually for Asbury students over three years, beginning in 2027. The opportunity will allow students to gain practical experience in the financial services industry while learning from experienced professionals.

“At Asbury, we want to prepare students not simply to be the best in the world, but to be the best for the world,” Lim added. “We’re grateful for leaders like Todd and organizations like NCF who share a heart for investing in the next generation.”

The T.W. Lewis Foundation makes the leadership speaker series possible through its generosity. The series connects Asbury University and the wider community with accomplished leaders who explore the importance of faith, character, leadership and professional excellence.
