The Asbury University Art & Design Department exists to challenge and equip those who will advance and practice the visual arts.
At Asbury University, you can study painting, sculpture, ceramics, stained glass, printmaking, drawing, multimedia, graphic design, photography and art history. All Studio students are provided with studio space and complete a public senior exhibit prior to graduation. Art History students pursue internships and public presentation of research. Those seeking certification to teach are trained for P-12 student learning.
An hour and a half south of Cincinnati, Asbury University is located in the beautiful Bluegrass region outside of Lexington, Kentucky, across the street from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Feb 6, 2024 — Media Communication alumna Savannah Riley ’17 Guthrie submitted a logo design which Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton and members of the 250 Lex Commission selected to promote the celebration of the City of Lexington’s 250th anniversary, coming in 2025.
