The Asbury six-person cast brings the Peanuts comic strip to life with classic and beloved scenes. Charlie Brown, played by Tim Conaway ’10, seeks five-cent advice from Lucy van Pelt, played by Natalie Lawyer Clements ’10, while they converse and sing to “The Doctor is In.” Snoopy, played by Brianne Beck ’11, agonizes then praises over receiving a full bowl of dog food to consume during “Suppertime.” Do you want to participate in a live audience? Asbury College Theatre and Cinema Performance program presents a sitcom “Friends Like You” March 6-7. It will be shot in the Doddridge-Holland theatre in front of a live studio audience. Your responses will become a part of the program. Show times are at 7:30 p.m. both nights, and admission is $5. The Asbury College theatre and cinema performance program will present another classic dramatic production Friday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Doddridge-Holland Theatre. The troupe will also present a Thursday, April 24 performance at 9 p.m. and a special Saturday, April 25 matinee at 1 p.m. The Highbridge Film Festival will celebrate its fifth anniversary on the Asbury College campus at this year’s April 25 screenings at 7:30 p.m. in Hughes Auditorium. The festival has become one of the largest annual campus events, with more than 1,400 people attending last year.
