Music Management

Music management provides students the opportunity to understand the integration of music, faith and business. Asbury's new media production building includes a fully professional recording studio complex. Courses at the school include recording industry classes as well as music business classes. The program is designed to enable students to move directly into the music industry and is designed for those considering careers as recording professionals, artist managers, concert promoters, and industry entrepreneurs. Students receive instruction and experience from a Christian perspective while working to create and market a recording of original music. Due to our close proximity to Nashville, students have the opportunity to intern within the music industry. The faculty member overseeing the audio area has had substantial experience as a recording artist, artist manager and label owner.
