Middle School Climbing Gym Day Camp
July 16-18, 2019
This camp will be available for registrants of middle school age. Campers must be upcoming 6th,7th, or 8th graders.
Asbury University Center for Adventure Leadership will be hosting a day camp focused on learning rock climbing basics. This is an indoor climbing camp designated to teaching beginner rock climbers. This camp will be hosted primarily at Asbury University’s Luce Center in their Climbing wall facility. The last day campers will get to experience a local climbing gym in Lexington LEF. All three days will start at 9 A.M. Day 1 and 2 will both end at 2 P.M., but day 3 will end an hour later at 3 P.M. due to the drive to Lexington. This camp will be directed by a certified CWI (Climbing Wall Instructor) staff member with the help of trained climbing gym staff. Lunch each day is included as well as all rental equipment and the local climbing gym fee. No experience required.
