Prospective Students Experience Asbury at Fall Preview Events
September 2, 2019
Get a taste of life at Asbury University by signing up for a Fall Preview Event this semester!
Open to prospective high school juniors and seniors, these events are so much more than a campus tour. Fall 2019 Preview Events will be held on Sept. 5-6, Oct. 3-4 and Nov. 7-8. Register here!
For two days, students are immersed in campus life and Asbury’s one-of-a-kind community.
They can experience life as an Asbury student by attending a variety of classes in the area of their interest, eating meals in the cafeteria with current students and worshipping in Chapel with the traditional undergraduate population.
Preview events begin with a sweet start in the Hiccup Café in Asbury’s Student Center. Here, prospective students will get to know their Asbury student host and enjoy a delicious, free milkshake.
Parents can get their questions answered by Asbury faculty and admissions specialists at special sessions for parents and at the Academic Fair. A financial aid seminar allows parents to meet with Asbury’s Financial Aid department and learn about the different options available that make an Asbury education the best value for their student. Asbury works to provide each student with the best financial aid package possible and 100 percent of Asbury students are offered scholarships.
Additionally, the first Fall Preview of the semester includes an overnight Adventure track, where students will explore the Daniel Boone National Forest with Asbury’s Adventure Leadership staff. The second Fall Preview of the semester will feature Sibling Invasion and Family Weekend, so students can look forward to cheering on the Eagles at the Family Weekend soccer game and participating in the beloved Goat Roast tradition.
