WILMORE, KY – Asbury College is hosting the annual Fall Revival Series in Hughes Auditorium Sept. 8-12. The services are free and open to the community.

The revival speaker this year is Mark Van Valin. Services are Monday-Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and at 10 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Prayer meetings before each evening service are at 6 p.m. in Reasoner room 214. The focus of the services will be centered on “Living Missionally” and Matthew 6:33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Mark Van Valin is in his sixth year as senior pastor of the Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church, Spring Arbor, MI. He is a 1979 graduate of Greenville College and earned his M.Div. in 1983 from Asbury Theological Seminary. Rev. Van Valin and his wife, Linda have three children. Rev. Van Valin was the speaker for Revival week at Asbury College during 9/11, “An unforgettable time when God was very near.”
