January 28, 2022 — Asbury’s Professor of Worship Arts, Dan Pinkston, was featured in the 2021 Seoul International Composers Festival for his fantasy composition, “One Dawn, One Dusk,” inspired by three Korean folk songs.
December 21, 2021 — Abe Parker, a 2011 Asbury graduate, advanced his career in the music industry with a recent contract, signing with the record label and music distributor Virgin Records.
December 1, 2021 — Asbury University President Dr. Kevin Brown invites the community to Songs of the Season performance presented by Asbury’s English and Music departments on Friday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hughes Memorial Auditorium.
November 23, 2021 — Asbury senior Olivia McCants won first place at the Kentucky Chapter NATS (National Association of Teachers Singing) Musical Theater competition, making this the third state award that she has won from NATS.
