October 27, 2022 — Damaged Goods, a feature film produced by the award-winning Asbury University Media, Journalism, and Digital Storytelling department that premiered in Lexington last fall at the Lyric Theatre, will be broadcast across the Middle East and beyond beginning this week.
October 5, 2022 — Competing against both public and private universities, Asbury University students won four Student Production Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences on September 18.
September 9, 2022 — Professor Rich Manieri, assistant professor of journalism in Asbury University’s School of Communication Arts, received the Francis White Ewbank Award for Excellence in Teaching.
May 31, 2022 — Asbury’s Media Journalism department’s Collegian newspaper won the 2022 Kentucky Broadcasters Association (KBA) award for best website, along with journalism student Allie Sutton winning three KBA awards in different news story and reporting categories.
November 2, 2021 — Asbury University's The College Tour episode can now be streamed online at asbury.edu/collegetour. In celebration of Asbury’s nationally-streamed television show episode, the university hosted a fun, in-chapel campus event which included complimentary popcorn and a live-streamed appearance of the show’s host, Alex Boylan, who interacted with Asbury President, Dr. Kevin Brown.
