Faculty Mentor Program

Second-Year Mentoring Program

Asbury University has a formal mentoring program arrangement between volunteer senior faculty and new faculty members in their second year, which is organized by the Faculty Development Committee. Each faculty member interested in participating in the program is paired with a colleague with whom it is suggested that they meet once a month for support in matters of professional, spiritual, and classroom development and to discuss aspects of managing the academic career at Asbury University. This program is an extension of the first year program, which aims to assist new faculty in becoming familiar with the university through a series of discussions over a provided lunch.
