Job Purpose:
The Visit Specialist works with the Coordinator of Campus Visits and Events in assisting with the visit program. The position reports directly to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions. Contributes to the goals of the Traditional Undergraduate (TUG) Admissions Office by coordinating prospective student campus visits for private, group, and athletic recruit visits. Represents Asbury University to students, parents, high school counselors, youth pastors and youth leaders, the community at large and participates in a full range of admissions activities. An important part of the position is supporting the ministry and mission of the University and advancing the academic excellence and spiritual vitality of our University and students. Each employee plays an important role in the development of the Christian faith in our students.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time on-site position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Due to the nature of recruiting events, some weekends will be required.
Travel: Minimal travel is expected for this position.
