The Vice Provost for Academic Affairs serves as the Provost’s primary academic representative for the university. This senior-level academic administrator works collaboratively with faculty, deans, staff, and other administrators to promote a culture of learning and excellence, and to execute the mission of Asbury University.
This position also serves to directly supervise Registrar, Center for Academic Excellence, Academic Accessibility Services, and AU’s signature academic showcase event, SEARCH. Other areas of responsibility include curriculum and policy development, oversight of centers and institutes, Honors Seminar, grants, faculty development, and academic support services. This position also serves as the institution’s initial point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to academic agreements.
