Job Description

There are two positions open in the Admissions Office during the summer months (May through August). All Student Ambassadors will work primarily with visits and then will have specialized areas of responsibilities as time permits.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Admissions Visit Team with special events during the summer such as Eagle Day orientations, Reunion, and Welcome Week.
• Conduct campus and/or residence hall tours for guests throughout the summer.
• Provide assistance for daily tasks in the Admissions area.
• Provide basic data entry and front desk services such as answering the Admissions Front Desk phone.
• Other duties as assigned.

Provisions

• The position runs May 4 – August 21, 2026.
• Summer Ambassadors will work 40 hours a week at $7.25 an hour, which is $290/week minus taxes. Students must fill out a weekly timecard.
• Student may take up to five unpaid days. Dates will need to be approved by the Director of Undergraduate Residential Admissions at the beginning of summer.
• Housing will be provided on campus (after filling out a summer housing application through Human Resources).
