Asbury University senior Anna Sparks earned both National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Offensive Player of the Week honors following a standout week for the Asbury women’s soccer team.
Sparks, a biology major from Berkeley Lake, Ga., scored five goals as Asbury secured two victories. She recorded the first hat trick of her collegiate career in a 3-2 conference win over Huntingdon College before scoring both of Asbury’s goals in a 2-1 victory over Transylvania University.
The performances brought Sparks to six goals on the season. She currently leads the CCS in total goals and goals per game, averaging one goal per contest.
Asbury women’s soccer has won five of their first eight contests in 2026, following their 2025 season that included a CCS Conference Championship appearance.

TeamAU sponsors 16 intercollegiate sports, as well as cheerleading and six club sports representing more than 350 student-athletes.
