Asbury University senior Emily Sizemore has been selected to compete on the USA Division III Women’s Basketball Brazil Tour, earning the opportunity to represent both Asbury and NCAA Division III athletics on an international stage.
Asbury University senior Emily Sizemore, an elementary education major from London, Ky., was selected to represent USA Sports on the USA Division III Women’s Basketball Brazil Tour, USA Sports Tours & Events announced earlier this month.
Sizemore earned a place on the USA Division III Women’s Red Team, which features some of the nation’s top NCAA Division III women’s basketball student-athletes. USA Sports selected participants based on outstanding performances at the national, regional and conference levels.
This is an outstanding group of young women. Many of the players on this year's USA Division III Basketball Brazil Tour had outstanding individual seasons and led their teams into postseason play."

During the 2025-26 season, Sizemore finished fourth in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) with 20.6 points per game while shooting 49% from the field. She earned NCCAA Second Team All-American honors, led the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) with 621 total points and surpassed 1,000 career points in just two seasons at Asbury.
She also received CCS First Team All-Conference recognition and was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region Third Team.
Sizemore's selection highlights the national caliber of Asbury student-athletes and provides a unique opportunity to represent Christ, the University and NCAA Division III basketball on an international stage.

The USA Division III Basketball Teams will travel to Brazil Aug. 4-13 for a 10-day tour featuring international competition, cultural immersion and educational experiences. Following team orientation in Orlando, Fla., the teams will compete against local clubs in São Paulo before traveling to Rio de Janeiro for additional games and visits to iconic landmarks, including Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain and Copacabana Beach.
Emily Sizemore will be one of nine student-athletes representing colleges and universities from across the United States on the USA Division III Women’s Red Team.
