Asbury University will welcome students back to a transformed dining experience when it completes extensive renovations to The Eatery before the Fall 2026 semester.
Asbury launched construction in early May and plans to complete the project by mid-August, giving students an updated space to enjoy when they return to campus. The renovation team is redesigning the dining hall to improve traffic flow, increase comfort, and create a more inviting environment for the entire campus community.

“The new furniture will provide a variety of seating options that will be enjoyed by many, while the reconfigured serving and beverage stations will improve the efficiency and quality of everyone’s dining experience. We have also redesigned the east side of the dining room to be used for student seating or easily subdivided into flexible space to accommodate our many meeting needs. Everyone on campus will benefit from this renovation.”
The project will introduce new seating, updated flooring, brand-new windows and restrooms, an improved dish return area, and modernized dining stations in The Eatery. Students will also enjoy a new dessert station and two beverage bars that will expand dining options and enhance the overall experience.
These renovations matter because they improve one of the most important gathering spaces on campus, giving Asbury students more opportunities to connect with friends, build relationships, and experience community throughout their daily lives.
Every day of the semester, students gather in The Eatery to share meals, discuss class projects, celebrate milestones, and build friendships. Through these renovations, Asbury is creating a space that better supports those interactions and strengthens the sense of belonging that defines the student experience.
